This is the most amazing motorcycle I’ve ever seen. Dozer is a true artist in sculpture. He sculpted this bike entirely out of steel. I ruined it. I painted it to look like bone. I did a good job of that. What I really did was hide a true masterpiece in steel. Everyone who sees it thinks it’s molded fiberglass or plastic. They need to strip the paint off and clear the steel to show the true artistry of the build and Dozer’s true talent as a master builder.

Pentagon 2005

This was the first of four trucks that I’ve had at the Pentagon. They also had an unveiling of one of my paintings at the same time. Gen. Mosley was the chief of staff at that time and we were able to visit his office. He had my painting of the Memphis Belle hanging in his office at that time . What an honor.

This was my second trip to the Pentagon and probably the most memorable. I painted this painting to honor one of the most admirable men I’ve ever met, Luke Weathers. Luke was one of the Tuskegee airmen. A gracious and humble man who was truly an American Hero. One of the greatest honors of my life was to meet Luke and paint this painting for the Pentagon of an real event of history as told first hand by the actual participant. God Bless you Luke and your family.

Every two years the Pentagon has an acceptance dinner to take ownership of the paintings presented by the artists. For your information the Pentagon is the largest art gallery in the US. It’s really a great time to mingle with the best aviation artists in the world. It’s a real honor for me to hang with my Heroes.

Overhaulin

This was a great time at CNN headquarters for the unveiling of the Hummer. I was also interviewed on CNN which was cool. This Hummer brought one million two hundred thousand dollars for the Fisher House Charity. I was very proud to have been part of this project. Thanks Chip.
