Taylor and Logan’s Horses
Graham and Tammy Warren my friends who own Apple Coach Works on Long Island have two precious little girls Taylor and Logan. The year before last I was there working for a couple months. That crazy bastard Graham chases some guy down who he sees pulling these two horses on a trailer behind his pick-up. The man was delivering them to someone, and had brought them all the way from Nebraska. Some how, and I don’t know how, Graham talked that guy in to selling him those two horses. He also talked me into painting them for his girls for Christmas.Graham was killed last year in a motorcycle wreck. He loved his girls more than anything. I loved him and miss him. I just want his girls to know what a great Dad they had.

Absolutely beautiful, both the horses and the acknowledgement that his lil girls were the “apples” of his eye. Graham loved, respected and admired the work you did on all the amazing things you painted, but especially loved these horses, which still stand proudly in our backyard, with 2 precious lil girls playing on them every chance they get. They miss their Daddy very much and speak of him each day and tell everyone that “Daddy’s friend, Uncle Mickey painted their horses for them.”
Thank you so very much, Mick, for being a true friend to my amazing husband, and to us. xoxo
